- COMPOSITION:
Endoiodine 20 % injection solution
ACTION:
Iodine preparation which influences metabolism in the organism by
enhancing the processes of dissimilation, particularly in the
tissues with hyperplastic chronic inflammatory reaction
(tuberculosis, lues). It facilitates pyroxin synthesis at low doses
and suppresses it - at high doses. It decreses blood viscosity,
improves blood vessels supply and exerts an antiatheromatous effect.
INDICATIONS:
For pre-operative preparation of patients with thyroid gland
diseases involving hyperthyreoidism. Atheromatosis, atherosclerosis,
aortalgia with strong pains, emphysematous chronic bronchitis,
teritary lues.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to iodine. |
DOSAGE AND ADMNISTRATION:
For pre-operative preparation of patients with hyperthyreoidism
treatment begins 5-6 days before the operation (s.c., i.m. or i.v.),
2-4 ampoules, twice daily for 3-4 days in severe cases, and 1-2
ampoules, twice daily for 3-4 days in severe cases, and 1-2 ampoules
- for light cases (in the same rhythm). In the remaining cases
indicated for endoiodine treatment it is carried out with 1-2 ml
daily or every 1-2 days.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Ampoules of 2 ml in packs of 10, 50 and 100.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C) in a place protected from light.
EXPIRY:
2 (two) years. |
