- COMPOSITION:
Glaucin hydrobromide - 125 mg
Ephedrine hydrochloride - 100 mg
Citric acid - 125 mg
Basil oil - 125 mg
Simple syrup - to 125 mg
ACTION:
A combined drug with antitussive and antiseptic action. It is
recommended for administration in the presence of a spastic
component in cough etiology.
Glaucin hydrobromide, included in the drug, suppresses the cough
center similar to codeine but has none of its adverse effects.
Ephedrine, as a sympathomimetic, stimulates breathing, dilates
the bronchi, reduces the edema of their mucosa.
The essential basil oil tranquilizes the nervous system, soothes
the cough reflex, has an analgesic and a slight antiseptic
effect.
INDICATIONS:
Acute chronic bronchitis, tracheolbronchitis, spastic and
asthmatic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pertussis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Coronary sclerosis, angina pectoris, hyperthyroidism.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Of ephedrine mainly: tremor, palpitation, light excitation,
perspiration.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
It is prescribed to adults: 1 tablespoonful, 3-4 times daily; to
children from 3 to 10 years - 1 teaspoonful, 3 times daily; children
over 10 years - 2 teaspoonfuls, 3 times daily.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Syrup in vials of 125 ml.
STORAGE:
In original packages, at a temperature not higher than 5-15° C,
protected from light.
EXPIRY:
2 (two) years.
