COMPOSITION:
Codeine phosphate - 10 mg
Caffeine pure - 50 mg
Phenacetin - 200 mg
Acetylsalicylic acid - 200 mg
Phenobarbital sodium - 25 mg
in one tablet

ACTION:
It has a marked analgesic effect due to phenacetin, acetylsalicylic acid and codeine. Their combination is based on: potentiated analgesia by combining two or more analgesics. The addition of the weak narcotic analgesic codeine considerably enhances the pain-relieving effect through a central mechanism as well. Analgesic-antipyretic combination, reduction of the side effects by administration of lower doses of several agents; change in the absorption of the active drug; lower possibility of addiction development. The addition of caffeine to such components enhances the analgesic effect through a vascular mechanism: the brain vascular spasm is overcome and the CNS inhibition is reduced.

INDICATIONS:
Headache, migraine, neuralgia, neuritis, postoperative and postpartum pain; in oncological practice it can postpone the inclusion of opium drugs for quite a long time, incurable patients.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Manifestations of nephrotoxicity, as well as obstipation, addiction and habit forming are likely to occur with the administration of high doses and for a long period.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
It is orally administered in a dose of 1-2 tablets, 2-3 times daily, depending on the intensity and duration of pain.

MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages of 10 tablets.

STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C) in a place protected from moisture.

EXPIRY:
2 (two) years.
