ACTION:
The vitamins from the B group are of great importance for cell
metabolism. They are included in the composition of the enzyme
system that regulates the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and
proteins.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) is included in the composition of the
co-enzyme co-carboxylase, which facilitates the oxidation reactions
of carbohydrates in the body. It is intensively used up during
carbohydrate intake. In hypo- and avitaminosis, B1 reduces the
amount of lactic and pyroracemic acid accumulated. It improves the
function of the nervous system.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin, Lactoflavin) is included in the composition
of some enzyme systems that regulate the oxidation processes in
cells. It facilitates both carbohydrate and fatty metabolism,
metabolizing the amino acids, iron and prophyrins. Improves the
oxidation-reduction processes and tissue respiration through the
yellow respiration enzyme. It stimulates the growth of the organism,
the synthesis of visual purple and the hemopoietic system. It is
assumed to have an antiallergic action and to protect the mucosa of
the digestive tract from injuries.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) promotes the utilization of unsaturated
fatty acids by the body and the preamination of some amino acids.
Improves the function of the liver and nervous system. It has a
hypoglycemic action through insulin activation (in diabetes).
Vitamin B (PP, B5) (Nicotinic acid and Nicotinamide) is included in
the composition of codehydrogenases, participates in the enzyme
reactions of dehydration. Improves the functions of the skin and
mucosa, avoids the origination of pellgra and other lesions of the
skin, gastrointestinal disorders and damage of the nervous system.
It intensifies the detoxic function of organism and has a
vasodilatory action. |
