TribostimTM is a product of the group of invigorating resources on the base of dry standardized extract of Tribulus Terrestris L., Bulgaricum. The stimulating effect of the extract is connected with the rich content of steroidal saponins from furostanol type (not less than 45%), flavonoids, salts, microelements and proteins. The company offers the first series of them with invigorating effect. All of them are phyto (from plant origin) products, derived from organic raw materials.

BULGARSKA ROSA SEVTOPOLIS AD manufactures special tonic agents: Tribostim, Tribovit and Tribcard. They have been registered as dietary supplements. All are herbal products on the base of ecolocically pure raw materials. What is common for them, is that they all contain proprietary standardized dry extract of native Tribulus terrestris L. Bulgaricum. The extract is rich in steroidal saponins of furostanol type (not less than 45 %), and in addition: flavonoids (rutin), salts, microelements (zinc, copper, iron) and about 10 % proteins. Item # EB0001-102-07 Tribostim - filmcoated tablets containing 250 mg of the indicated dry extract. Item # EB0001-102-08 Tribovit - capsules. Each capsule contains 250 mg Tribulus extract and 40 mg vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate). Item # EB0001-102-09 Tribocard - capsules containing 200 mg standard dry Tribulus extract and 100 mg dry extract of Crataegus monogyna. The latter contains a great many flavonoids (ramnoside mainly) and has pronounced vessel strengthening and cardiotonic properties. The standardized extract from Tribulus terrestris, as well as the preparations formulated on this base: Tribostim (pure Tribulus extract), Tribovit (combination from the extract and vitamin E) and Tribocard (combination from Tribulus extract and Crataegus extract) have a pronounced tonicizing action, manifested in: enhanced static and dynamic physical endurance and accelerated recovery of the body after strong physical loading. The tonicizing effect is enhanced with the prolongation of administration time of the preparations. The substances studied have anti-stress action and accelerate the adaptation of the body, exposed to extreme conditions. The steroidal saponins, potassium salts, the microelements zinc, copper and iron, as well as the proteins in the extract play the main role in its tonicizing action. The intensified activity of some enzymes associated with the energy metabolism, intensification of protein synthesis, as well as the improved lipid metabolism are of importance for the mechanism of biostimulating action, which provide the body with the necessary energy. All that leads to enhanced activity of adrenals and sexual glands (within the frame of the physiological norms), improvement of mediation functions and activation of the immune defense. The preparations have membrane-stabilizing and capillary tonic action, which is associated with the broad range of flavonoids and steroid saponins. The preparations studied have antioxidant properties. The latter are best manifested with Tribovit followed by Tribocard. The vessel strengthening and antilipemic effects are best manifested with Tribocard, which in turn improves the functional status of the cardiovascular system. The substances studied based on standardized extract of Tribulus preserve their tonicising effect after castration, not manifesting the effect of the sex hormones and anabolic drugs. The toxicological studies show that Tribulus extract belongs to the group of substances with low toxicity. That fact, together with the above mentioned properties allow: to recommend Tribostim as tonicising agent, Tribovit - as tonicising antioxidant and Tribocard is a dietetic additive, improving the functional condition of the cardiovascular system and is with marked antilipemic action.
